Project Subject : a control room and the surveillance of the buildings housing the students
Based on the urgent need for surveillance systems , had to be utilized in the premises of the University of Dammam , it was a private and a separate control room for each building , enables the security staff to make any control process and control camera system.
But the large number of buildings in the student housing area which is about 10 buildings in addition to the stadiums and gyms, was the idea of the university administration to unify those rooms in one room and the collecting all surveillance systems for cameras for easy access and use, and they provided the trouble of moving between buildings, as well as the main reason, was to save surveillance systems and equipment in the control room and control protected to maintain the security and not to tamper with or attempt to sabotage her collection.
The record time and successfully complete the project implementation, was the use of the latest technologies in the field of surveillance systems such as fiber-optic cables and transceivers to her, to accommodate about 400 cameras and collected more than 45 display screen 32-inch within a wooden console, plus 6 cabins to collect all equipment and recording devices and accessories, was used as an easy control system by a special control for movable cameras (PTZ) and even fixed, the security men managed to any part or group of cameras on the console, and to facilitate the process of reviewing the files stored through the storage units, and cover all the events and sporting events in the area stadiums and gyms.
As has been the installation of new cameras with high-resolution techniques of IP type to cover all the squares, attitudes and points the main task inside and outside buildings, in addition, to complete coverage of area gyms and stadiums, this was done through the installation of 120 fixed and movable camera ( PTZ ).
